Lucas Lane Albany is a new shopping centre development located in the heart of the Albany commercial area. The Albany area was formally known as Lucas Creek, after Daniel Lucas, a flax trader. The region is characterised by its picturesque native landscape and flora, and the interior design picks up on these cues.
The interior of the Lucas Lane mall reflects abstracted local landscape and flora forms to create a vibrant and aspirational shopping centre. Reflected light and filtered shadows, angular forms and natural materials provide a dynamic backdrop to a bustling destination retail precinct.
