This purpose-built low income housing was designed to offer more than the usual confines of traditional state housing.
The brief was to provide a quality living environment. The final design comprised of 50 two-bedroom dwellings in four blocks, a common room and a caretakers unit. Views from the apartments were maintained and the ground floor units have private garden areas. Exterior walls were coupled with cedar shutters and tiled decks, to add a touch of sophistication.
