WMZI relocated international shipping firm Cosco’s New Zealand office into a character 1920’s warehouse space. The open plan spaces feature exposed timber trusses overhead, with polished concrete floors in the circulation and function/lunchroom areas. A pixelated wave pattern in the carpeted floor blurs the separation between the enclosed office/ meeting rooms and the open plan areas.
Shipping container imagery is reflected in the custom designed screen and floor rug in the reception area. A raised floor section and planter box with foliage screening designates a multifunction breakout space for staff and their clients.
Staff facilities included space for a small onsite gym.
